Hey there! I have made made a T-shirt and jean braided headband for my mom and she loves it so I decided to make another one for her. I think this is a lot lot cuter so I am also sharing it with you guys.
Well, here is how the headband looks like. I would say it looks sicker than the old one, so I hope you enjoy this #RDIY
- First of all, you have to take an old or new piece of fabric. I used T-shirt fabric bcuz it is softer and absorbs sweat better.
- Cut the fabric into long stripes enough to wrap around your head.
- Afterwards, tie one end of three strips together in a big knot and start braiding down until the other end.
I had to add one more strip of fabric bcuz the headband was too short. I just tied the extra fabric on both sides of the headband.
Here comes the awesome part!
- Take some embroidery thread and wrap a small section around the headband, knot and cut off any excess. I used light yellow and purple thread to give my headband a pop of colour.
That is how the end product looks like and I am a little proud of myself cuz I improved in this headband braiding thing. I hope you enjoy this update and remember to always be happy:D
