Easy Christmas Gift: Unique book covers

Hey there guys! I know this is kind of a weird Christmas gift but my BFF is an awesome artist and she loves to draw so I decided to give her a customized sketch book as a gift. You can also make a cute notebook cover as a gift. You can learn how to make a notebook HERE
Anyways, let's just get into it.

  • First of all, you will need a notebook or anything that you would want to make a special cover for.

  • Then, cut a piece of recycled paper to the size of the book.

  • Cut some colored paper and gift wrapping paper to make a beautiful collage for the cover.

  • Paste the colored paper and gift wrapping paper onto the base and start writing stuff your friend or family member likes with a bunch of colored pens!!

  • After that, hot glue or glue the base onto your book and we are 90% done.

  • To make sure that the colour will not fade easily, take any sort of transparent plastic you have in your house and wrap the cover page.
  •  I had to cut open the top and side so that the plastic is wide enough.

And we are done! Simple and cute!

I hope whoever receives your gift has a smile on his or her face and I wish you a Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year!

Update on How To Make A Cute Fringe and Word T-shirt

Hey guys! I am sorry for being MIA for so long. I am kind of busy. But today I am back with another DIY!!
Here is what the end product looks like.

I don't mean to brag or anything, but I think this design is way better than my original one cuz I made some alternations.
Here is the picture of the original shirt:<Yep, I DIYed this shirt>

So are you ready to learn how to make this? I mean the new one, not the original one.
I am sure you are.

  • First things first, how did I make the winking face and the SMILE words? Well, you can check that out HERE

  • Then, I decided to sew the collar into the shirt to make it seem smaller. My body shape fits this type of collar better. If you , like me have a kind of large neck, this collar will suit you better. But, try to wear the shirt and find out which type of collar suits you better first.
  • For the steps: One, fold the collar into the shirt. Two, pin the collar to the shirt. Three, sew on the row of thread around the shirt with a needle and a thread.

  • Since I have to finish the raw edges if I cut the sleeves, I decided to just fold it inside and sew on several parts of the sleeve with white thread like so.
  • Just make sure that it is strong enough, so that it won't fall out.

This is how it looks inside out.

  • Take a pair of scissors and cut the bottom part of the T-shirt to make cute fringes. Give them a tug so that they won't look so freshly cut and we are done.

I hope you enjoyed this #RDIY. I will be posting more often as it is the holiday season! Hopefully I can upload an #RDIY on Christmas gifts.
