How To Make A Binder or File Division Thing Out of Cardboard

Hey there! I am back with a #RDIY and this time it is about binders and files, I do not recommend you doing this for a management file as it will be pretty hard for you to turn the pages, but it will look so cute in a ring file. So anyway, I just wanted to thank all of you for supporting all of my #RDIYs and giving me generous +1s. Thank you all. I think that is enough for the intro, I am going to start telling you how to do this now.

Steps:
  • Find an old piece of cardboard. I cut mine from a cookie box. This is the cover of the box.

  • Then, you would want to cut out the prefect size of the division that you want. Be sure to measure and draw a line first.

  • After that, find some unused gift wrapping paper or coloured paper and cut it exactly the shape of your division to cover up the back part of the cardboard with a printed surface plus glaming up the boring ole' division. Then, just glue it.

  • Then, take out your Sharpies and colourful pens or even colour pencils.

  • Take a few colours that match each other and write down the subtopic or subject that you want to divide. (i.e English, Math, Science or any other subject.)

  • After that( I am repeating the same sequence connectors.), take your pencil and ruler and draw a rectangular box beside your writing.

  • Cut it out and TA DA! Easy right?

  • For jazzing up your plain file division, go on line (Google) to search for some quotes that touches your heart. Maybe learning motivational quotes.

  • Again with the markers and pens, you just write down all of the quotes that you like on your plain cover and you are done. Here is mine.

  • Actually we still got one more little step before we can use it. You need to punch it, literally.

What do you guys think? You can always comment or email me if you want. Happy Making your Divisions. Bye!

Easy DIY Bow Hair Ties From Old Shirts and Jeans

Hi guys! A few days ago, I saw a bow making tutorial on Bethany Mota's Youtube Channel. She is like my fav DIY guru on Youtube cuz she makes really cool stuff plus her style is sweet and girly.

Her Youtube video link is here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Or3QTBmIKw

For me, I don't usually wear a lot of bows like the ones girls usually wears, but I do want to make my everyday hair-ties look a whole lot cuter. Now,  when I wear me bow hair-ties, I felt cool and girly. Nobody ever wears bow hair-ties in my class and that kind of made me special.

So enough with the intro, let's just get started:

  •  First of all, you need to find some old jeans or a T-Shirt that you don't want any more. If you want to, you can also buy some fabric, but we are kind of sticking to a Recycle DIY here.

  • Cut out a rectangular piece of the shirt or jeans.

  • Cut out a long piece of the hem of the shirt or jeans like this.

  • If you are lazy like me, just take your glue gun and let's get ready to make this easy thing!

  • Here are all the 3 pieces of my fabric.

  • Basically, just glue the edges of the rectangular fabric so that they won't fray.

  • Then, pinch the bow and wrap the hem of the shirt or jeans around the bow.

  • After that, place the B&B (Black and boring) hair-tie in the hem and hot glue that.

  • Cut out any excess and you are done.
  •  Here are how the bow hair-tie turned out to look like. I really like them and have been wearing them 24/7 now cuz they are so cute and pretty and you can just easily pair them up with any outfit.

Bye! This was an easy #RDIY, hope you like it. #Bowaddiction

HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN NOTEBOOK FROM AN OLD NOTEBOOK OR EXERCISE BOOK

Hi guys! I am so sorry I accidentally deleted the post on my tablet. I thought it was a draft. Anyway, I am reposting now and hopefully you guys don't mind the inconvenience I caused you all.

So, the procedure on HOW TO MAKE YOUR OWN NOTEBOOK FROM AN OLD NOTEBOOK OR EXERCISE BOOK is literally here:
I just used some old paper from an exercise book. Just tear them out.

  •  First, collect any type of paper you would like to use in your notebook. (Remember that you can alter with the thickness of the notebook.) Just cut them out. As you can see, I chose a Math exercise book. I don't know why I am saying something that is obvious.

  • Then , stapler all of the papers together with a huge stapler if you are making a rather thick notebook like me.(P.S You can also mix and stapler any type of paper. I just combined everything into one big notebook.
  • Remember to stapler them neatly, you wouldn't want it to look like a mess. I kind of regret stapling mine messly. It looks annoying.)

  • After that, tape the edge of the stapled end with transparent tape.

  • Then, cut out the cover of the exercise book. We are going to do some designing.

  • Take a piece of coloured paper(This is seriously not a recycleable material, but at least I am using some leftover from a project.) and cut it to the exact size of the cover.

  • Glue the new "cover" of  your  notebook.
  • After that, you can just draw some cute little doodle on your new cover with Sharpie or any colourful markers and pens. You can also use some leftover gift-wrapping paper if you have some. ( I changed my cover into this because my brother accidentally spilled some paint on the pink colour paper.) I just love how I can customise it and make it into something personal<3

  •  Next, tear a piece of drawing paper, cut it to the exact size of the cover and glue it.

  • After that, take out your paint and paintbrush cuz we are going to add some colour and creativity to our cover.

  • Paint the cover anyway you like.
  • Then, you just have to tape the inside of your notebook with either washi tape or normal tape.
  • For extra, tape the outside of the notebook and you will have a cute and original notebook for school and anything you want. However, the most important part is that you are helping to reduce the rate of paper wasting and turning "waste" into something useful. Bye!
This is my brother's notebook:
He says that he painted the autumn leaves and I kind of love it even though it is messing, it is actually quite nice in its own way.

Oh and I forgot, here is the video of my notebook. Enjoy!
